Kate Frontz grew up in Kennesaw, Georgia. She is the daughter of two teachers and the middle sister to two brothers. She attended Georgia College and State University in Milledgeville, Georgia, where she received a bachelor degree in studio art.
Frontz moved to Clovis four years ago. She met her husband, Clay Frontz, who is a navigator on AC-130 W gunships, in January 2012 and the two married in November 2013. They have a 9-month-old daughter, June, and 3-year-old goldendoodle named Lucy.
Frontz enjoys traveling with her family and painting. Before becoming a mother, Frontz spent one year as the public relations coordinator at Clovis Community College. She runs her own company as a photographer.
What do you like about your job?
I love everything about my job. I love the beautiful people I meet, the creative outlet that photography allows me and documenting the raw, quiet instances of life. The moments when the world is still. Whether it’s a look, a touch or feeling, I strive to capture the extraordinary moments of an ordinary day.
What’s your idea of a perfect day?
My idea of a perfect day would be waking up to my 20 pound, blue-eyed alarm clock with an ear-to-ear, toothless grin. It is making coffee for my husband and watching as he snuggles and plays with our girl on her puzzle-piece play mat. After a day full day of events, I settle down with my family that I’m thankful for and wouldn’t trade for anything.
What’s your favorite TV show, past and present?
My favorite TV show, past and present is “Saturday Night Live.” These characters and their comedy have comforted me in the most difficult of times and always tap my funny bone at the sound of “The Lawrence Welk Show” opening jingle.
What’s your favorite song at the moment?
Oldies music is my favorite. You can’t beat singing along to Dinah Washington and Brook Benton’s “A Rockin’ Good Way!”
What’s your favorite smell?
My favorite smell is fresh-cut grass. It takes me back to childhood days of playing whiffle ball in the front yard with my family.
What do you do when you’re not working?
When I’m not working, I am in my happy place with my family. Traveling the world, making new discoveries, celebrating milestones and growing together in love.

Tell us about your greatest individual accomplishment?
My greatest accomplishment to this day would be giving birth to my daughter, June. Serving, loving, and leading her through life is my greatest gift and purpose. It is a indescribable feeling of
accomplishment to know that she is healthy and safe.
Who would you invite to your fantasy dinner party?
I would invite Princess Diana, John F. Kennedy, Ellen DeGeneres and Cameron Crowe. I find these individuals so intriguing and could just imagine the endless conversational possibilities.
Tell us about your favorite place to travel?
My favorite place to travel is Paris. From the zinc-clad rooftops to the beautiful, blustering chaos of the cobblestone streets below, the City of Love is a sight for sore eyes. There’s nothing quite like it.
